Job Description

Location: Boca Raton, FL (On-site, full-time)

**Unique Position Profile:

We’re looking for a hands-on storyteller who isn’t afraid to get their feet wet—literally. The ideal candidate is energized by fieldwork and thrives in outdoor, fast-paced environments. Whether it’s riding on a boat at sunrise, wading through coastal terrain, or capturing raw, real-time footage of plastic cleanup efforts, this person is deeply connected to the mission and excited to be where the action happens.

You’ll need to feel confident on boats, comfortable in the sun and salt air, and ready to roll up your sleeves when needed. This role requires an early riser who can show up at 6 AM, head out with the cleanup crew, and not just observe—but actively capture, create, and tell the story through compelling content.

Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and versatile Social Media Manager to lead strategy, content creation, and community growth for a fast-paced, mission-driven organization committed to environmental impact and consumer engagement. This role blends strategic social leadership with hands-on content execution across ecommerce and B2B brand partnerships.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives both behind the camera and in the field—someone who can develop impactful content while helping build a brand that inspires purpose-driven change.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Campaign Leadership

  • Develop and execute full-funnel social media strategies for both ecommerce and partnership verticals
  • Drive brand growth across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Build scalable content series that support audience engagement, sales, and lead generation
  • Stay on top of platform trends and performance best practices

Content Creation & Field Engagement

  • Plan, script, film, edit, and publish short-form video and multimedia content
  • Join field operations (often early mornings) to capture authentic, mission-focused stories
  • Comfortable working outdoors, on boats, and in fast-moving environments
  • Lead the development of real-time content that reflects the organization’s hands-on impact

Community Engagement & Growth

  • Actively manage community interactions—DMs, comments, tags, and mentions
  • Collaborate with ambassadors, partners, and field teams to amplify messaging
  • Monitor sentiment and report insights for continuous optimization

Performance & Reporting

  • Track KPIs such as impressions, conversions, engagement, and follower growth
  • Use analytics tools to provide actionable insights and guide creative direction
  • Collaborate with leadership on thought-leadership content and executive visibility

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with internal departments (marketing, ecommerce, partnerships, executive) to align social output with strategic goals
  • Manage and coordinate freelance designers, editors, and other content partners
  • Lead creative direction for platform campaigns, brand storytelling, and cross-functional initiatives

Ideal Profile:

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management and digital content creation
  • Strong video editing and design experience using tools like CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express, or similar
  • High comfort level working in outdoor, hands-on, and travel-based environments
  • Experience with e-commerce, purpose-driven brands, or social impact initiatives preferred
  • Excellent project management skills; highly organized and self-motivated
  • Thrives in a startup or “wear many hats” environment
  • Passion for sustainability, conservation, or mission-driven work

Compensation:

Competitive salary + performance incentives. Full-time role with opportunities for growth and impact.
