CENTRL Office is a Portland, Oregon-owned flexible office space provider, with locations in California, Oregon, and Washington. We provide high-end, full service, collaborative workspace solutions for teams and individuals.

We are currently seeking a Community Associate who will work with our teams in El Segundo and Marina Del Rey. The person in this role will move between the locations assisting the General Managers and location teams with maximizing efficiencies in the spaces, providing unparalleled customer service, creating and maintaining an extraordinary sense of community, and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the space.

What you’ll do:

You’ll be working with our General Managers and location teams across three locations to support day-to-day operations, enhance member experiences, build community, and provide the highest level of hospitality to our members and guests.

Member Services:

  • Provide a great experience for members and guests at all times
  • Greet members and guests with a smile and by name when possible, creating a positive experience and cultivating relationships
  • Cover the front desk when not assisting members and guests or doing rounds
  • Answer phones and respond to Slack messages and emails
  • Assist with addressing and resolving member concerns 
  • Assist General Manager with coordinating member events 
  • Assist with setting up parking permits and elevator cards
  • Assist General Manager with responding to emails
  • Support General Managers and Sales Director with projects as directed

Operations:

  • Assist with opening or closing locations and maintaining appearance and cleanliness of the spaces throughout the day.
  • Maintain kitchens including: Brewing or disposing of coffee, emptying espresso machine grounds, emptying/loading dishwasher, restocking supplies including tea, sugar/creamer, dish soap, napkins, paper towels, paper dishes, plastic utensils
  • Maintain meeting rooms: Resetting chairs, re-stocking dry erase markers and erasers, removing any papers or disposing of trash, cleaning whiteboards
  • Maintain printer areas: Straightening supplies and restocking paper, checking common areas, resetting furniture, disposing of any trash
  • Maintain bathroom supplies including handsoap and feminine hygiene products
  • Assist with mail and deliveries including sorting and distributing to members offices or file for pick-up

Sales Support:

  • Assist General Managers with office staging and resetting offices after move-outs.

The Community Associate has a key role in the member experience and is an integral part of the location team, and the CENTRL Office team as a whole. An upbeat disposition and willingness to get your hands dirty will go a long way in this position. We’d also like to see the following:

  • 2 years in-person customer service experience required
  • 1 year of hospitality experience required
  • 1 year in a professional office environment required
  • 1 year of co-working experience preferred but not required
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to connect and engage with people

The hours of this role are Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5pm. This role does not have the option of being remote.

Rate: $23/hr
