What you'll be doing

  • Applies knowledge or quickly learn cGXPs, relevant SOP curriculum, routine project procedures, project management, and other training as appropriate
  • Performs a variety of projects/studies in areas that may include Product/Process, investigations, as well as projects/studies to support Manufacturing Operations
  • Serves as project lead with projects of intermediate scope and cross-functional teams
  • Qualifying, maintaining, and troubleshooting particle analysis equipment
  • Reviewing and evaluating non-conformances, performing root cause analysis, and proposing corrective/preventive actions
  • Generating and updating procedures, work instructions, test methods, and test protocols/reports
  • Works with different functional groups and producing appropriate documentation in support of projects
  • Able to prioritize workload and tasks

What you'll bring

  • BS Degree in Science, Engineering or Math
  • 2+ years experience preferred in quality laboratories, microbiology or sterility assurance
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in verbal and written form, including technical/business writing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, computer software
  • Direct industry knowledge
  • Ability to work independently or in teams
  • Previous experience with membrane filtration for particle analysis
  • Prior experience with FTIR and microscopy preferred

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
