If you're passionate about delivering high-impact architectural projects and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Your Role: Project Manager

As a Project Manager at AO, you’ll be the driving force behind the successful delivery of multiple architectural projects — from concept through completion. • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison, building strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate internal teams and external consultants, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Budget & Schedule Management: Monitor project costs, track progress, and implement strategies to stay on track.
  • Quality Assurance: Uphold AO’s commitment to design excellence and technical precision.
  • Construction Oversight: Support construction administration, including site visits, RFIs, and submittal reviews.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all project documentation is complete and compliant with codes and regulations.
  • Mentorship: Guide and support junior staff in their professional development.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience managing architectural projects, preferably in retail or commercial sectors.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Deep understanding of building codes, permitting, and construction processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Retail Rollout Experience. Grocery Rollout Experience is a PLUS.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Office-based with occasional local travel to client sites and construction locations.
  • Regular use of computers and standard office equipment.
  • Occasional lifting of architectural models or drawings (up to 25 lbs).
  • Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

Why AO?

  • Be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
  • Work on exciting, high-visibility retail projects.
  • Enjoy a supportive culture that values innovation, integrity, and growth.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
