Beacon Hill's client, a global law firm, is seeking a temp labor and employment attorney to provide overflow support for one of their larger institutional clients. Location: Remote, from either CA or WA state. **Candidates working from CA must be licensed in the same state. Candidates working from Washington state can also be considered, although they must be licensed in both California and Washington state.

Duration: Ongoing with the potential to go longer term. If this position becomes longer term, it may require some onsite work at the nearest CA office (San Francisco, Orange County, Downtown Los Angeles, or Century City)

No concurrent employment (including solo practice) is permitted while on this assignment

Any plaintiffs work is a conflict

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

• Active California bar license in good standing (or active and in good standing CA and WA licenses if based in WA state)
• Must have California Agencies experience
• 3+ years of Labor & Employment attorney experience
• Candidates should have experience with employment related claims, including PAGA violations, wage and hour, worksite investigations, etc.
• Agency Team (Labor & Employment)
  This work is including but not limited to:
  - Answering demand letters
  - Witness interviews
  - Position letters
  - Fact finding/investigations
