ROLE SUMMARY

STAFFED INC. is seeking an entrepreneurial and results-driven leader to join our senior leadership team as the HR Director. This role will head our People & Talent function, overseeing all facets of human resources, executive search, high-volume recruiting, and people operations for both field and corporate teams. With a focus on cultivating an inclusive, people-first culture, you will set the strategic direction for talent acquisition, build strong internal partnerships, and continuously refine our HR policies and processes to ensure we deliver an exceptional employee experience.

As HR Director, you will develop and drive integrated HR strategies that address immediate business priorities while laying a foundation for sustainable, scalable growth. Leading a team of recruiters, sourcers, and HR professionals, you will spearhead the full-cycle recruitment process for pivotal roles—from senior-level executives to our nationwide field staff—while ensuring compliance, streamlined operations, and alignment with STAFFED INC. 's mission and values.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership & Workforce Planning

  • Develop & execute HR and recruitment strategies that align with STAFFED INC.’s business goals and values, ensuring a robust and inclusive talent pipeline.
  • Partner with executive leadership to forecast organizational needs, define headcount plans, and implement scalable processes that support a dynamic, growing company.
  • Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) in recruiting, retention, and people operations, adjusting strategies to drive continuous improvement and optimize resources.
  • Leverage HR analytics to deliver insights around market trends, compensation, and forecasting, providing data-driven recommendations that inform overall business strategy.

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Own full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and negotiation, ensuring a high-touch candidate experience from initial contact to hire.
  • Oversee multi-functional recruiting operations, managing corporate and field recruiters, sourcers, and project managers to achieve hiring targets and align talent strategies with organizational goals.
  • Drive innovative sourcing practices, employing social media, proactive searches, and referral networks to build robust pipelines of high-caliber, diverse talent.
  • Curate and manage a broad professional network, staying current on market trends and acting as a key brand ambassador for STAFFED INC.’s employer value proposition.

HR Compliance & People Operations

  • Create and maintain HR policies in compliance with multi-state and federal labor laws, ensuring consistent application across both corporate and field teams.
  • Manage compensation and benefits strategy in alignment with business objectives, regularly benchmarking to remain competitive in the marketplace.
  • Oversee payroll processes and ensure accurate, timely delivery across a national workforce, collaborating with Finance and Operations to maintain operational excellence.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, embedding inclusive practices into every stage of the employee lifecycle.

Team Management & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of recruiting and HR professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and top-tier service delivery.
  • Set clear performance goals for team members, regularly evaluating results and providing constructive feedback to nurture career growth.
  • Encourage operational excellence by identifying and implementing best practices, standardized processes, and consistent evaluation methods across all HR and recruitment functions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Finance & Operations to forecast and manage headcount, maintain budgetary discipline, and ensure alignment on staffing needs.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Account Operations, and People Partners to deliver seamless onboarding, leadership & hospitality trainings, and engagement programs for employees at all levels.
  • Implement metrics & reporting frameworks, offering regular updates to executive leadership on hiring progress, market insights, and operational efficiencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting and HR.
  • 2+ years of executive or senior-level recruiting experience, preferably handling highly specialized or creative/hospitality industry roles.
  • Demonstrated success in multi-state HR compliance, including labor laws, payroll, and benefits administration.
  • Track record of building effective recruiting strategies, including advanced sourcing and talent marketing.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced proficiency with ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools; familiarity with Bullhorn, Hubspot, or similar systems is a plus.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive, results-driven mindset.
  • Being bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

  • Deep exposure to enterprise workforce planning, including headcount and location strategy.
  • Strong bias for action, with the agility to iterate quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience building for scale, applying structured methodologies to drive predictable, repeatable hiring outcomes.
  • Capacity to navigate ambiguity, bringing structure to unrefined processes and delivering consistent results.
