Based out of Carnegie, PA, the HR Manager is responsible for providing advice, support and execution in a wide variety of human resources related areas including talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, benefits administration, employee relations, labor relations, training, talent management, risk/compliance, organizational development, and special projects.

1. Develops strong trusted partnerships with business leaders and employees, acting as advisor and partner in the areas of organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition and development, employee retention and engagement, risk/compliance, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management and conflict resolution.
2. Manages the operational aspects of HR internal controls and policies.
3. Manage full-cycle recruitment efforts. Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions, in accordance with company policies and objectives. Conduct or acquire background checks and employee eligibility verification.
4. Lead new team member onboarding process and works closely with hiring managers with a focus on successfully integrating and retaining associates.
5. Partners with Payroll and other members of the human resources team to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of all new hires, terminations and personnel changes, in a timely manner.
6. Monitors new policy developments and collaborates with peers, subject matter experts and local leadership to integrate policy initiatives, in conformance with corporate and regulatory standards.
7. Leads performance assessments and salary review processes in accordance with Company guidance, ensuring compensation actions in conformance with company and legal standards.
8. Actively engages employees and business leaders to provide ongoing evaluation of workplace climate and recommend and propose solutions to address areas of concern. Counsel employees and managers on a variety of issues including career planning, conflict resolution, corrective action and other work-related challenges. Conduct employee round tables, focus groups, stay and exit interviews to evaluate climate and morale. Coordinate investigations as needed in an objective and professional manner to determine necessary corrective action in consultation with managers.
9. Partner with local management and Environmental, Health and Safety guidelines to promote and ensure reinforcement of company safety culture and integration of best practices to support workplace health and safety.
10. Advise supervisors and managers on performance management issues including appropriate corrective counseling, training and development, and progressive discipline techniques and processes. Review documentation to ensure compliance with relevant law and consistency with Company policies, procedures, and guiding principles.
11. Manage the implementation and administration of the company benefit plans (e.g. Simple IRA) in compliance with applicable regulations, laws and employment standards. Anticipate and advise company on long term employee benefits needs and trends. Works with internal partners in finance and to ensure appropriate administration of plans.
12. Contribute actively to the development and implementation of overall HR strategy and corresponding action plans. Act as change agent in identifying opportunities to improve workforce and HR process effectiveness to enable business strategy and results.
13. Recommend and implement revisions to policies, programs and practices as needed. Ensure compliance with all state and federal statutes, laws and regulations including but not limited to all applicable wage and hour laws, and regulations related to FMLA, OSHA, EEO and ADA.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree required, with degree in Human Resources Management, Employment Labor Relations, Business Administration, Public Administration or related subject matte preferred.
2. A minimum of 4 years of experience in multiple Human Resources disciplines, including benefits, compensation, employee relations, talent management, preferably in the manufacturing industry and with management experience preferred.
