Job Description

This full-time Housekeeper's job is to enhance each resident's experience by performing tasks that ensure the cleanliness of the nursing home. Housekeepers play an important part in our organization because a clean and sanitary environment is important for the health, safety and healing experience our resident's need. Responsibilities:

• Replenishes supplies in bathrooms.
• Vacuums rooms with carpeting.
• Sweeps and mops tile floors (occasionally required to strip and wax floors).
• Dust all surfaces in resident rooms (furniture, bed frames, and windowsills) and throughout the facility.
• Empty and disinfect trash cans per schedule.
• Clean bathroom sinks, toilets and floors in resident rooms and throughout entire facility.
• Clean mirrors and inside windows.
• Moves furniture on occasion to ensure cleanliness.
• Wash and flip mattresses of beds when scheduled.
• Cleans office areas as scheduled.
• Changes privacy curtains and drapery for the outside windows when necessary.
• Other duties may be assigned.
