Position Summary

The American Royal is looking for a Fundraising Coordinator that is responsible for supporting fundraising and corporate partnership efforts for our events and programs throughout the year. This role will oversee coordinating donor outreach, maintaining donor databases, and fundraising communications. A successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and committed to promoting the organization's impact through effective fundraising efforts.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as a consistent point of contact for all potential and confirmed partners.
  • Schedule meetings with targeted partners and participate in partner meetings.
  • Coordinate and maintain sponsorship data, deliverables, metrics, generate reports, including event wrap-ups.
  • Organize, inventory, proof and perform quality assurance checks on all partnership contracts.
  • Work with the American Royal team to identify potential partners.
  • Support the Director of Partnerships in the resolution of any requests and issues from partners and donors.
  • Build relationships and support partners through the fulfillment process.
  • Serve as concierge at all events for partners and execute identified on-site activation.
  • Maintain partner communication regarding the status of their partnership.
  • Work with the American Royal team to manage hotel room needs and work directly with hotel partners to book needed rooms and manage reservations.
  • Manage hospitality donation requests for American Royal events.
  • Facilitate grant applications. This may include writing the grants, ensuring payment and processing final reports.
  • Assist with administrative and other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
  • Strong public speaking and proven relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrated experience working with high-level constituent base preferred
  • Must possess the ability to initiate, organize, and follow through with fundraising strategies
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience preparing written proposals preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of budget and accounting practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (database and spreadsheet experience preferred)
  • Ability to work nights and weekends to support events
