Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Food and Beverage Manager . The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee daily operations, manage food and beverage services, ensure high-quality customer service, and maintain health and safety standards. Responsibilities include training staff, managing budgets, planning menus, and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery of supplies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations to ensure excellent service from point of entry to departure to include greeting from hostess, speed of order taking, food and beverage delivery, fulfillment of special requests, bill closure and invitation to return
  • Create and maintain a positive atmosphere for guest relations
  • Meet with guests on an informal basis during meals or upon departure to obtain feedback on quality of food and beverage, service levels and overall satisfaction
  • Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence and motivate restaurant staff 
  • Provide training, direction and support to maintain productivity levels and build mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members 
  • Exhibit and coach outstanding customer service and maintain focus on continuous improvement 
  • Assist the General Manager in ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and maintain health, safety and sanitation standards for the restaurant and bar area 
  • Training seasonal employees and ensuring standards are followed is imperative with this management position
  • Create & manage employees weekly work schedules
  • Support and give guidance to the rest of the outlet’s staff
  • Responsible in assisting in all health and safety regulations within the outlet and ensure the Company policies are always adhered to 
  • Ensure that the team has excellent product knowledge and can deliver outstanding customer service
  • Assist in completing daily & weekly administrative reports
  • Help to recruit, lead, motivate and retain their team
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

  • Experience in Food Service and Food & Beverage management
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Ability to train and develop staff effectively
  • Experience with Budgeting and financial management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant management is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
