OverviewEndodontic Dental AssistantCameo Dental Specialists Elmhurst, IL Cameo Dental Specialists is a rapidly growing dental specialty group looking for an Endodontic Assistant. This position is responsible for providing an excellent patient experience while assisting the dental specialist in addition to maintaining infection control practices.The right candidate will enjoy working collaboratively with a team in a fast-paced environment, working to provide safe care for all patients. This role demands flexibility and adaptability, superior organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. As needed, we'll call upon this role to perform other duties to help advance our business goals. Schedule: Full Time Monday - Friday, 1-2 Saturdays/mo, must be flexible to travel between offices ResponsibilitiesDocument procedure notes and obtains all necessary dental/medical historyTake digital X-rays and CBCT scansChairside assist, 4 handed dentistryPrepare and sterilize instruments, operatories and equipmentInstruct patients on postoperative and general oral health careConduct wellness calls to patientsCollaborates with PRCs to ensure dentist's schedule runs smoothly and efficientlyProtects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and proceduresMaintains patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAAAssists with daily office cleaning responsibilities QualificationsRequirements High school diploma or equivalent2-3 years of Dental assisting experience, specialty experience preferredAbility to contribute productively in a team setting, as well as being a strong individual contributorExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detail.Ability to think creatively and strategically to solve problems.Positive attitude and ability to shift directions based on business needsWilling to cross train specialties: endo, perio, oral surgeryPreferred SkillsExcellent communication skills and a team-first attitudeReliable, organized, and comfortable in a high-level clinical settingXray certificationNitrous Oxide certificationWe OfferDental insuranceDependent health insurance coverageDisability insuranceHealth insuranceHSA/FSA accountsLife insuranceOn-the-job trainingOpportunities for advancementPaid time offReferral programSafety equipment providedUniform allowanceVision insurance401(k)Bereavement leave Specialized Dental Partners, its affiliates, related companies and independently owned supported clinical practices are proud to be Equal Opportunity Employers. The salary range for this role is $20 - $25 per hour based on full-time employment.
