Overview:

We are hiring Certified/Registered Medical Assistants at both Level I and Level II to support clinical operations under physician supervision. General Responsibilities (Applicable to Both Levels):

  • Support daily clinical flow and provider schedule
  • Maintain accurate and detailed electronic chart documentation
  • Perform patient assessments: vitals, hearing, vision, height, weight
  • Administer vaccines and document screens
  • Conduct lab procedures including strep, RSV, and mono tests
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, CLIA, and HIPAA
  • Attend clinical and administrative meetings
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and support a family-centered care environment

Qualifications:

Level I Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Familiarity with pediatric vaccine schedules and administration
  • Ability to collect lab samples including venipuncture
  • Basic use of electronic health records

Level II Requirements (in addition to Level I):

  • Demonstrated experience with Level I duties over a 6–12 month period
  • Proficient in medication administration (e.g., rocephin, bicillin, synagis)
  • Knowledge of chronic and complex diagnoses
  • Skilled in scheduling appointments and lab operations
  • Experience as a care coordinator (e.g., vaccine or Synagis coordination)
  • Ability to train new hires and lead workflow improvements

  • Vaccine administration and lab testing
  • Pediatric care and communication
