At Buzznation, we specialize in crafting unforgettable event experiences. Our team thrives on creativity, precision, and passion. We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented  Associate Event Manager to support and lead end-to-end event execution while ensuring excellence in delivery.

Role Overview:

As an  Associate Event Manager , you'll work alongside senior managers and the creative team to conceptualize, plan, and execute a wide range of events. This role requires a strong blend of organization, creativity, people skills, and the ability to manage logistics seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in end-to-end event planning and execution for corporate, social, and experiential events
  • Liaise with clients to understand event objectives and expectations
  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and third-party suppliers to ensure timely delivery
  • Manage on-site event operations including setup, registration, crowd control, and breakdown
  • Supervise event staff, interns, and volunteers as needed
  • Monitor event budgets, timelines, and checklists to ensure deliverables stay on track
  • Prepare and present event proposals, run sheets, and post-event reports
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and permits
  • Contribute to creative brainstorming and pitch decks
  • Maintain clear communication with internal teams and clients throughout the event lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in event coordination or management (agency experience is a plus)
  • Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems on the fly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic design tools (e.g. Canva, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with budgeting and vendor negotiation
