Trusts & Estates Associate – Charlotte, NC

A well-established Am Law 200 firm is seeking a talented and motivated Trusts & Estates Associate with at least three years of relevant experience to join its growing Charlotte office . This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to advance their career in a collaborative and sophisticated legal environment .

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on all aspects of estate planning , wealth transfer , and asset protection strategies
• Draft a wide range of estate planning documents , including wills , trusts , powers of attorney , and health care directives
• Assist with estate and trust administration , including probate proceedings , fiduciary accountings , and tax filings
• Provide counsel on charitable giving strategies , business succession planning , and elder law matters
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda related to complex estate and tax issues
• Collaborate with colleagues across practices to provide comprehensive solutions to high-net-worth individuals , families , and business owners

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the North Carolina Bar
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in trusts and estates law , including both planning and administration
• Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
