What You’ll Do: As an Associate in our Personal Injury Defense Practice, you’ll hit the ground running with your own caseload of active files and play an essential role in defending high-stakes claims involving: - Auto/trucking accidents - Premises liability - Construction site accidents - General negligence Your responsibilities will include: - Managing cases from intake to resolution (including trial prep and the opportunity to get trial experience!) - Drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery - Taking and defending depositions - Attending court hearings and mediations - Communicating directly with clients, insurers, and opposing counsel - Strategizing with seasoned litigators to get results that matter What We’re Looking For: - J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school - Licensed and in good standing with the California Bar - 1–10+ years of civil litigation experience, with a focus on insurance defense/personal injury matters - Strong research, writing, and courtroom skills - Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, supportive, and collaborative environment - A proactive attitude and a passion for advocacy Why You’ll Love Working Here: - Competitive salary + performance bonuses - Hybrid flexibility – work from home & our OC office - Robust benefits including health, dental, vision & 401(k) - Mentorship + real growth opportunities – we invest in YOU - Work/life balance – because burnout helps no one Compensation Range: $100,000 to $180,000, salary commensurate with relevant experience
