  • Collaborate with property management teams to identify challenges and propose timely, effective solutions.
  • Conduct monthly financial reviews and create strategies to enhance asset performance and exceed budgeted/underwritten cashflow.
  • Participate in regular (weekly or bi-weekly) calls with property management teams to monitor site-level performance.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of relevant markets and submarkets, including sales comps, competitors, and potential new supply.
  • Assist with the due diligence process on acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Support the VP with identifying and negotiating property management contracts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of multifamily, market-rate real estate experience required.
  • Direct property management experience in multifamily product is required.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong reasoning ability: able to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Proven written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience with lenders and institutional equity investors is preferred.
